I found this weird Gentoo Wiki ripoff ( ) and there was this article about iwlwifi which stated that my card needs the iwlwifi5000-ucode file, which is already installed in my /lib/firmware: ucode-files which are installed with the linux firmware. On the Intel page for linux drivers ( ) my device is not listed, but they say that you need those.
